Description
When large corporations insist on widespread use of chemicals, genetically modified seeds, and overuse of land, good farming practices can be lost.
This has become a major problem in Africa and a new opportunity for a Mission and Service partner, Christian Care in Zimbabwe. People from Christian Care are teaching local farmers an agricultural method called “conservation farming” that has helped increase crop yields and ensure food security.
Even after a single growing season, there have been dramatic results.
Your gift will supply maize seed for 10 households in the program. Not only does this program help families in Zimbabwe, but it is also an example to share across sub-Saharan Africa.
