Mini Thni (“Cold Water” in Stoney) First Nation has a population of 6,300, and 2,000 of its members are between the ages of 12 and 18. Over half of these youth are in care, and a high percentage are in foster homes outside of Mini Thni First Nation. The Morley United Church in Southern Alberta brings these youth together for cultural programming that helps them overcome this adversity and grow into strong adults.
